Boryspil Airport promises to open the new Terminal F in September
New Terminal F of Kyiv Boryspil Airport, Ukraine, designed for international flights, charters and low-cost flights were not open neither in April nor on the 24th of August at the Ukraine Independence Day, as it was scheduled before.
“Today, the Terminal was put on a turnkey basis. However, for some reason an opening ceremony was not possible. The new tentative opening date is the first-second decade of September “, – said the airport spokeswoman Oksana Ozhigova.
At the same time, as they say at the airport, the Terminal F will be open for regular passengers. Although before, they were saying it would take not less than a month after the formal opening ceremony.
At the airport they say that the reason for the delay was not the Terminal readiness but some other reasons.
The capacity of the new terminal is about 1,000 passengers per hour. It is the same as the running Terminal B has got now.
