New Terminal F of Boryspil Airport, Ukraine, designed for international flights, charters and low-cost flights were not open neither in April nor on the 24th of August at the Ukraine Independence Day, as it was scheduled before. The new tentative opening date is the first-second decade of September.

Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ukraine defined the winner of tender for producing a new truck to transport prisoners. Tender competition was announced in the framework of Ukrainian preparations for EURO-2012. Mayor of Kyiv Leonid Chernovetsky is going to sign an anti-alcohol program for 2009-2013, which will come into effect soon afterwards.

Electric train “Troeschina” – “Kyiv-Petrivka” has been launched in Kyiv

Kyiv Municipal Administration and the Southwestern Railroad have launched operation of electric ( commuter ) trains between train stations “Troeschina” (Horodnia) and “Kyiv-Petrivka” in Kyiv on the 2nd September, 2009. This will enable residents of the Troeschyna district to travel to the Petrovka subway station faster and more comfortably.
