On Sunday early morning 25th October, Ukraine is switching to winter time. At 4pm in the morning clocks have to be moved back one hour so we will “gain” an extra hour.
Change for winter time is realized according to the recommendation of the European Economic Commission UN, which extended the period of summer time from September until the last Sunday of October.

On the 9th September 2009 “Ukrayinski Novitni Tehnologii” (Ukraine High Technologies) has launched the first in Ukraine 4G network based on Mobile WiMAX technology in test mode. It is planned that by the 1st of November this network will cover all Kyiv and its suburbs. By the end of 2010 it should cover the territory, where about ten million Ukrainians work and live.
