The oldest in the world 83 year old student Galyna Chernova, who lives in Simferopol, Ukraine is looking forward for the beginning of the school year. Last year she entered the economy faculty of the Crimean Institute of Economics and Business Law. Galyna mentioned, that it is funny and at the same time sad to learn the economy of the country, which really doesn’t have the economy now. But, she said, it is interesting for her to study.
Getting ready for the new year, she even stopped at the school market, but didn’t get anything there because of the high prices. Galyna Olexyivna told she’s got a lot of pens and notebooks last year at the shop selling cheap Chinese goods.
The oldest student will have day classes but with an individual schedule, so she could miss the lectures.
“Why should I refuse an interesting life? I feel great and want to get a higher education,” noticed Galyna. But she had chosen the financial sphere not by accidence. As it turned out she takes a great interest in stock-exchange deals and makes good money staking. But her music education doesn’t help her growing, so the woman decided to get some economy’s knowledge.
Galyna Chernova has two kids and seven grandkids.
