In the First Round Kateryna beat the No.11 seed Ana Ivanovic from Serbia 2:6, 6:3, 7:6 (9:7).
So, in Third Round, the Ukrainian tennis player Kateryna Bondarenko is getting ready to face Russian Anastasia Rodionova, who moved to Australia and now represents the Green Continent (Australia’s world No.139).
“Kateryna is a good friend of mine,” Rodionova said. “She’s had a few good results this week and Toronto the week before, beating Venus and then (Ana) Ivanovic here. She’s a good player and I think it’s going to be a good match. “She has a pretty good backhand, good serve, and I will try to keep her away from the backhand.
