She is the 2009 Winner of Ukraine’s Got Talent Show. Her story that portrayed life during Ukraine’s Great Patriotic War against the Germans in World War II makes people cry. But not only this, but all of her works are just stunning!
Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution according to which teachers should speak only Ukrainian at schools with the teaching in Ukrainian language, even during breaks. It is obvious that the main purpose of this resolution is to eradicate Russian language at schools.
Ukrainian teachers from Russian speaking areas of Ukraine are indignant: “How are they going to control us?”
The World Bank drew attention to the complex demographic situation in Ukraine. “The main problem is that Ukrainians, and especially Ukrainian men are dying too young. Average life expectancy of male in Ukraine is only 59; mortality of adult male population is comparable with the mortality in the poorest countries of the world.”
The 13th International Festival “Kyiv Summer Music Evenings” will start on May 30. It will run every wekend till July, 11th. The Festival is held on the summer stage of the Central Park of Culture and Rest.
